The Au Sable Institute announced today that Ashley Rosenberger will join the staff and serve as Admissions Manager. This position serves as the direct link between Au Sable and undergraduate students through the admissions process. Ashley will represent the Institute in articulating academic courses and the enrollment process, including admission and financial aid procedures, with all students served by the College Academic Program.

Ashley most recently served as the Director of Missions at Olivet Nazarene University and formerly served as Assistant Director for the Creation Care Study Program in Belize. She earned her Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from Taylor University. During her undergraduate studies at Messiah University, Ashley enrolled in Au Sable courses on three occasions, including a January term at the Michigan campus, a course in India, and a summer term at the Pacific Rim campus.
Along with her extensive professional and educational experiences, Ashley also brings a personal commitment to Au Sable’s mission. “My interest in this position stems from my experience as a student of Au Sable. I can honestly say that my experiences at Au Sable were some of the most impactful educational experiences of my college career,” Ashley remarked. “My passion is to help students, especially in the field of biological and environmental science, develop an understanding of creation care as we participate in furthering the Kingdom of God. There is no better organization than Au Sable by which to do that.”

Ashley lives in Bourbonnais, IL, and is married to Dr. Derek Rosenberger, a professor of biological science at Olivet Nazarene University. They are the parents of three young boys, Isaac, Nehemiah, and Levi who love catching frogs, fish, bumble bees, salamanders or anything else they can find on their adventures!
