Au Sable Institute is seeking up to three highly motivated and well-qualified individuals to serve as Research Assistants in its ongoing study of best practices for reforestation of abandoned oil pads in northern Michigan. Successful candidates will possess an exemplary academic record with emphasis in biological sciences. Skills in vegetation and soil sampling, chemical analysis, and statistical analysis desirable along with superior writing and organizational skills and past research experience. Selected assistants require physical stamina and mental alertness to work long hours in field conditions in all weathers.
