Our latest podcast focuses on a group of 5th grade students at Mill Creek Elementary School in Williamsburg, MI. Au Sable partnered with the school to implement the Restoration Ecology for Young Students (REYS) program. Throughout the course of a semester, students learned about ecosystems and the scientific process. They were also given the opportunity to get outside and use their new knowledge and skills to conduct a service project at their school. The recording features interviews with numerous students who were eager to share their curiosity and wonder at the natural world.
