Join Us on Linkedin

Au Sable has a LinkedIn group page, and we want you to join!  Joining the Au Sable group page gives you the opportunity to network with and view jobs postings from other Au Sable alumni.  For employers, it also gives you the opportunity to post jobs for Au Sable alums.  And Au Sable also will be posting jobs to the group page as they come to us.  This is one other way that you can tap into the great people you meet at Au Sable and forge a community devoted to engaging Christian environmental stewardship.

For those unfamiliar with LinkedIn, it is an online, professional networking tool that allows you to connect to colleagues, classmates, and friends.  Through LinkedIn, you create a professional profile that details your academic background and experience and allows other people you’re connected with to keep up with your professional work.  It also allows you to see if anyone within your network is connected to a person you may wish to get to know in order to further your networking opportunities.  You may also connect to group pages, such as the Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies group page, to find a community of people within a particular interest area.

Au Sable’s newly created GoodSearch account allows you to contribute to Au Sable simply by searching the web.  GoodSearch is a search engine powered by Yahoo! that donates 50% of its advertising revenue to charities.  Simply go to www.goodsearch.com and type in ‘Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies’ under ‘Who Do You GoodSearch For?’ and start searching.  For people using Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox, we recommend downloading the GoodSearch toolbar for your web-browser as well. GoodSearch raises money through advertising space, and they estimate that each search generates around $.01 for the organization.  It’s raining pennies on Earth Hall when you search.
