Interns Share Knowledge with Elementary Students

Four college interns will teach Michigan history and environmental education courses to elementary students in the Mancelona, Michigan area. The interns represent four different colleges: Cristiana Graff of The King’s University College (Edmonton, AB); Amy Scott of Abilene Christian University (Abilene, TX); Lindsay Thomsen of Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL); and Brandon Besteman of Cornerstone University (Grand Rapids, MI). The courses, under the direction of master teacher Trish Fagg, began in mid-September and continue through mid-October at the Au Sable Institute Great Lakes campus.
