Help Build a Community of Christian Earthkeepers

Au Sable Institute believes that every young person should have the opportunity to learn about God's good earth. With your support, we have inspired and educated thousands of people, including:

  • Jack, a third-grade student from a local elementary school, who participated in an environmental education program and spent hours in the woods identifying plants and animals
  • Rebecca, a sophomore in college, who took a summer class in Lake Ecology and developed stewardship plans for local lakes, streams, and wetlands
  • Mark, a recent college graduate, who spent six weeks as an Environmental Education Intern and honed his skills as a Christian educator and leader
  • Megan, a senior in college, who served as a research assistant for an externally funded study on determining best methods to reforest abandoned oil pads

Each of these stories represents a changed life and a person who is better equipped to play a leadership role in caring for creation. Julia de Jong, a recent intern at Au Sable, was profiled in the alumni magazine of Redeemer University College. She had this to say about her time with us:

"I was able to take time to enjoy my work and also further develop my relationship with God by seeing His face in nature."

Between now and the end of the year, our goal is to receive support from 200 donors. Will you be one of these supporters and make a year-end gift to Au Sable?

Your gift will not only be an investment in a student's life but an investment in building a community of Christian earthkeepers.
