Course taught at Au Sable: Ecology of the Indian Tropics

Biography/Interests
Teaches Field Biology, Concepts of Environmentalism, Environmental Instrumentation and Analysis, Watershed Analysis, and directs the Internship Program for the environmental science and environmental studies students. Has directed grants from the NSF and US EPA on Watershed Education for teachers on the Rouge River in Michigan and other watersheds throughout the US. Teaches a cross-cultural course for Au Sable on the Ecology of the Indian Tropics in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, South India. Directs the Urban Avian Research Program involving bird banding at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
